About The Yellow Station
The Yellow Station is an internet radio station broadcasting from Saint Lucia. It was founded in February 2021 by Lineker "Dj Yellow" Valcin, a Saint Lucian DJ and live sound professional.
The idea was simple. Dj Yellow wanted a home of his own to go live and stream his sets, without depending on anyone else's platform or schedule. He also saw a gap in local radio. Listeners who just wanted music had to sit through talk segments and ad breaks. The Yellow Station was built to fill that gap with non-stop music and no interruptions.
The station is also a home for Saint Lucian DJs. Alongside live sets, it hosts mixes from local talent and gives them a place to be heard by listeners at home and across the diaspora. Whether you tune in for a live set or press play on a mix, The Yellow Station is here to keep the music going.
Our Sound
The Yellow Station is a mixed-genre station rooted in the Caribbean. Our rotation covers Gospel, Country, R&B and Soul, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Pop and EDM, Afrobeats, Zouk and Kompa, Dancehall, and Soca. That range reflects what Saint Lucians actually listen to, from the French Creole sounds of zouk and kompa to the country music that has a deep and loyal following on the island.
Every day opens with Morning Motivation, four hours of gospel from 5 to 9 AM. Weeknights from 8 to 10 PM bring themed shows: slow jams on Monday, throwbacks on Tuesday, global hits on Wednesday, Caribbean anthems on Thursday, and country on Friday. The rest of the time it's non-stop music, with no talk breaks and no on-air ads. See the full weekly schedule.
